Reminders

As we are a little over halfway through the regular season, I wanted to send a couple of reminders:

1. Tobacco/Alcohol/Drug-Free Campus:
   • Please remember that our campus is a tobacco, alcohol, and drug-free area. The consumption or use of any of these products on school grounds is illegal and unnecessary.
2. No Pets Allowed at Events:
   • According to the IHSAA and the IGHSAU, pets are prohibited from attending any high school events. No pets are permitted at events sanctioned by the IGHSAU and IHSAA. Any person with a pet may be asked to leave.
   • This policy complies with Iowa Code 216C, which allows persons with disabilities or those training an assistance animal to be accompanied by a service dog or assistance animal under control. The person is liable for any damage done to premises or facilities by the service dog or assistance animal.
