Correction to Staff Attendance Data Shared at October School Board Meeting

In our recent review of attendance data presented at the October 21 school board meeting, the district identified an error in reporting licensed staff attendance. The reported data for teachers and administrators inadvertently included paraprofessional leaves, resulting in an inaccurate portrayal of licensed staff attendance. We are actively correcting the data to accurately reflect only teacher and administrator sick leave.

Our intent in tracking staff attendance is to foster a positive culture and collective responsibility throughout our schools. Our staff works hard and is committed to supporting all our students and their growth.

I apologize for the error and assure our community that we have taken the necessary steps to amend the data.
